To arrange a bulky waste collection service from your property (this is a chargeable service) for items such as household furniture, carpets, white goods, microwaves, TVs, etc visit this page. To make a booking (15 minute slot) you need to confirm the registration number of the vehicle you plan to use, which site you wish to visit and an email address for the booking confirmation to be sent to. MK residents can drop off large or bulky amounts of household waste and recycling at one of the three recycling centres. The donation areas for pre-loved goods are in the recycling centres, so if you’re planning to donate, you’ll need to make a booking. If you’re visiting the recycling centres by bike, or on foot at Hartcliffe Way recycling centre only, you do not need to book.

Can I bring a trailer to the recycling centre?

You can book a slot up to 14 days in advance to access our four household waste recycling sites.
